Welcome to Bite-Size Academy. By purchasing the School Admin Triage Pack ("Service") or interacting with our WhatsApp agent, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully, as they govern your use of the Service and limit our liability.
1. The Nature of the Service (AI Limitations)
Bite-Size Academy uses artificial intelligence (AI) to parse, summarize, and extract dates, times, and actions from school emails or voice notes you forward to us.
- You Must Verify: AI models can hallucinate or misinterpret text. Our agent is a summarization tool, not a definitive source of truth. You agree to always double-check the AI-generated brief against your original email or school communication.
- Limitation of Liability (The "Missed Pickup" Clause): Bite-Size Academy is not responsible for any consequences arising from inaccuracies in our AI-generated summaries. We are not liable for missed events, forgotten permission slips, late fees, scheduling conflicts, or any other damages (direct or indirect) resulting from your reliance on the Service.
2. Payment and the 30-Day Refund Guarantee
- One-Time Pass: The School Admin Triage Pack is a one-time purchase of $27. There are no recurring subscription fees.
- Refund Policy: We offer a strict 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied within the first 30 days of purchase, you may request a refund by emailing us at support@bite-size.academy.
- Chargebacks and Disputes: If you issue a chargeback through your bank or payment provider instead of requesting a refund, your pairing token and account access will be automatically and permanently revoked.
- Demo Use: We offer a one-time free demo per phone number. Attempting to bypass the paywall by cycling through phone numbers is a violation of these terms.
3. Account Access and the 2-Seat Family Rule
Your $27 purchase generates a single, unique 6-character pairing token.
- The 2-Seat Limit: This token is valid for up to two (2) phone numbers belonging to parents or guardians of the same household.
- No Unauthorised Sharing: You may not share your pairing token with other families, PTA members, or WhatsApp groups. If our systems detect your token being used across three or more unauthorized phone numbers, we reserve the right to immediately terminate your access without a refund.
- Phone Number Changes: If you change your phone number, you may contact support to transfer your seat to the new number.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Process illegal, highly sensitive, or non-school-related personal data.
- Spam, overwhelm, or launch denial-of-service attacks against our WhatsApp agent.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer the agent's prompts, logic, or backend systems.
5. Service Availability
While we strive for high reliability, Bite-Size Academy relies on third-party infrastructure (WhatsApp, Twilio, DeepSeek). We do not guarantee 100% uptime and are not liable for temporary service outages.
6. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising from your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Queensland.
